About

We are very eager to be opening Chabad Hebrew School for the coming 2021-2022 school year!

At Chabad Hebrew School we believe that children learn best through interactive experiences and hands - on discoveries. Children will experience the ideas and ideals which are taught in a tangible and artistic manner through creative activities, crafts, drama and more.

The key focus of our program is to give your child a positive, enjoyable and exciting experience, while learning about their Jewish heritage with all the traditions and holidays that come along with it, thus giving them a pride in being Jewish. Our students will be encouraged to ask questions and find answers.

Our dream is for our students to gain a true pride in who they are and the people they are a part of. But that's not enough. We won't be satisfied with 'proud fans' graduating our program. Aside for being proud of who they are, we want our students to feel a responsibility to take an active role in their Jewish life, to ‘be a player on the playing field'.

Upbeat, exciting, educational, creative and welcoming are the kinds of adjectives we want our graduates to think of when they reflect back on their Hebrew School experience in 30 years from now. Help us create that experience for your children!

We welcome you to join our Hebrew School family! Give your child(ren) a priceless gift, the opportunity to learn more about her/his Jewish heritage, to take ownership of it, and to feel proud of it!

See below for the Covid guidelines we will be following to keep all staff and students safe.

Hebrew School Covid Guidelines

The safety of our students, their families and our Hebrew School staff is of utmost importance. The following protocols will be implemented during Hebrew School. We will reassess these guidelines before the beginning of the school year and adjust if necessary.

  • Students will be seated distanced from each other.

  • Temperature checks will be taken at drop-off. Any student with an elevated temperature will be sent home.

  • Children will be required to use hand sanitizer throughout the program.

  • High touch areas will be regularly wiped down.

  • All students, teachers and staff will be required to wear face coverings.

Sick Policy:

  • Keep your child home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness.

  • Children must be symptom free (without the aid of a fever reducing medication) for 72 hours.

  • If your child has an excessive and unusual runny nose, cough or sneeze, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, loss of taste or smell, or any other symptoms typical of COVID-19, the student will be separated from the group until they can be picked up by a parent or guardian.
